“ Just wanted to have a quick congratulation to Anna the head manger and her team . amazing and the Brasilian chef was amazing at doing my rump steak the way he did , I love my steak and this was well done as I like it but also juicy all the way thru , I have never experienced such a delicious steak done that way . Anna was delightful with her friendly service and kind words All in all a very nice night ”
“ Busy and heavily booked in advance, so don't just roll up. I felt it was a bit dark, no doubt this was to generate atmosphere. My wife had a chicken, leek and mushroom pie. She loved it. Indeed, I had some of the accompanying mash potatoes and totally adored it. My own meal was beer battered fish with chips and salad. I liked it, but felt that the salad could be slightly more adventurous and that there could be more chips. But all said, still 5 stars. For our cocktail, a coconut margarita. ”
“ Staff are amazing, polite, warm and welcoming, nice local feel. Food & menu and has improved a log since opening. Play area handy for kids, covered parking, plenty space and different areas. ”
“ With 1100 points in mums card cumulative from birthday points and from the tricky lucky duck game, we decided that we'd have a quick lunch. We went to the Folk Lounge & Dining. We ordered the Roast Pork Neck and the Napoletano Fusili. It turned out there was no Fusili and they offered me Rigatoni instead. As the rigatoni came fairly quickly I feel that the menu could have been updated because this was obviously not a last minute change. The rigatoni was obviously already in use. The Fusili hadn't just run out as was indicated to me. The flavour and taste of the dish with super scrummy and I really enjoyed it. The other dish was the daily roast, which was Pork Neck. I'm not one to give bad feedback, on Google maps. The daily roast, when delivered failed to inspire. Chef, from one to another, much could be done to improve the presentation. Both dishes were priced $14.90 per meal and include photos of both dishes. Other than that, the staff are friendly and attentive. We had a pleasant lunch and will no doubt be back again before I leave. ”
“ The establishment exuded an exceptional ambiance. Tradies Gymea unexpectedly unveiled a captivating water feature within their elevator upon our arrival, providing an exhilarating live entertainment experience. The service was impeccable, with staff exhibiting exceptional attentiveness. The food arrived promptly and was highly commendable for its presentation and generous portions. It was noteworthy that the kitchen was abuzz with activity, efficiently preparing and getting meals ready. The meals were picked up and served within seconds of the bell’s ringing. The waitstaff demonstrated remarkable efficiency and professionalism. Very pleasant dinning experience . ”
“ The ambience is really nice at Folk & a cut above other Club restaurants. We were unaware that we needed to go to the bar to order our food & sat there for ages expecting a waitstaff to take our order. We finally asked a passing one who informed us. The meat on our meals was well cooked & very tasty. We were somewhat disappointed with the choices of sides & would have liked some steamed veggies & potato wedges or fries. We went for the peas & mash selection which wasn't very inspiring with a scoop of peas stuck into the middle of the mash. Presentation let the meal down. The food was very tasty but prices were fairly high like $48 for the lamb neck fillet. We will return but hope food level can address items mentioned above. ”
“ We have been members of Tradies for over 20 years on and off. The dining area in which Folk is situated has been a favourite. A bit sceptical about a new menu but our fears were allayed as the dishes arrived. Roast of the day was simple yet bursting with flavour and texture. The steak, as that's really what it was, melted in one's mouth. The surf and turf was just as delectable according to one of our party. We had a variety of desserts which were either a touch on the sweet or rich side, however, each plate was finished readily. The staff were exceptional, and the atmosphere warm and inviting. ”
